| We have been praying for quite some time about some areas of ministry that we want to be involved in. We are often asked to participate in mission trips, or travel to west coast states, or be involved in different radio outreaches. The problem with these things is that they can cost a lot of money! We are a 100% faith ministry. All of our income comes from our ministry. We do not charge churches a fee to come. We go on Love Offerings. Sometimes these Love Offerings are large......sometimes they are not enough to even cover the gas! We feel it is important to go wherever we have the chance to spread the Gospel! We will never tell a church that we cannot come because they are too small and cannot afford us. Because this is our ministry philosophy and also because we really feel God moving us into some expanded areas of ministry, we would like to introduce you to THE ARMY OF 500! |
| WHAT IS THE ARMY OF 500? We are asking God to send us an ARMY OF 500 people/families/churches that would be willing to support us monthly. We need support in 2 areas: Prayer and Finances. HOW MUCH MONEY DO YOU NEED? We are just asking people to pray about what God would have them do. If we had 500 people send $1, that would cover our vehicle insurance and phone bills. If we had an ARMY OF 500 people send $5 a month it would cover MOST of our monthly ministry costs. This would free up money for us to do some mission trips, (just this year we were invited to Russia, Africa and Mexico!) publish some ministry materials, expand into a radio outreach, and much more. Our goal is to have an ARMY OF 500 people give $5 monthly. WHAT ABOUT PRAYER? Because of Tylers situation we understand full well the value of prayer! We need and desire thousands of prayer partners. It is needed and vital to this work! WHAT DO MEMBERS RECIEVE? In addition to being a vital part of this work, we will send you free of charge each new recording or ministry material that we produce! In 2006 we are planning to release 2 or 3 Cd's as well as a Concert DVD. These will be our gift to you as a way of saying Thanks! WHAT ARE THE ETERNAL RESULTS OF MY $$ ? God has chosen to greatly bless this ministry. In 2005 we had the opportunity to see more than 300 people trust Christ as their Savior. Countless others have been blessed and encouraged as a result of us sharing the miracle that God has done in Tylers life. There are eternal results from this ministry. We are humbled and amazed at Gods continued work. HOW SHOULD I GIVE? You can make a 1 time yearly donation. However, we really would like you to send your gift monthly. Why? Because we want you to keep us in your prayers and think often about this work. We have dedicated our life to this ministry. We would love to have you stand with us! So, a monthly donation will be a constant reminder to pray for us! IS MY GIFT TAX DEDUCTIBLE? No, we pay taxes just like you do! However, if you wish you can make a gift to your church or to our home church, Dixie Baptist in Clarkston, MI. Then they could send it to us and give you a reciept at tax time. HOW DO I JOIN THE ARMY OF 500? Simply contact us! We will then put you in our database and begin sending you each new recording that we release. You can call, write, or email us letting us know you are part of the ARMY OF 500! WHEN SHOULD I SEND MY GIFT? Send it each month when your finances allow! We understand that some people are paid on different schedules. Also, if you have a month that you cannot give.......DON'T worry about it! Just pray for us! OUR PROMISE TO YOU: 1. We will faithfully use each dollar for ministry needs only. (no ski trips, boats, or fancy cars!) 2. We will not use this ARMY OF 500 to seek to raise additional support throughout the year. 3. As a ministry that is strongly connected to our home church,we are accountable to God and our Pastor. 4. We will never release your name to any other person or ministry. | Mark & Andrea Forester Ministry Facts: 1. We hold an average of 205 meetings a year. 2. We travel 75,000 miles or more every year. 3. More than 300 people were saved through this work in 2005. 4. We traveled to 12 different states in 2005. (there will be several new ones in 2006!) 5. We hold concerts, church services, full length revivals, banquets and much more! 6. In Mark's 12 years of ministry he has held more than 2200 meetings. 7. In those 12 years more than 4000 people have trusted Christ. |
