Before we talk about the weekend, I thought I would show you our new mode of transportation. We have a new van and trailer. Believe it or not, the equipment all fits in that trailer except for the mandolin. (we put that in the back of the van)
It will be a smaller way to travel but we will get close to 30 mpg!
We did 5 concerts in 3 days this weekend! Friday and Saturday we sang in Prudenville, Mi and had a good time. We were with our friends the Garza's and Bought and Paid For. Pastor Wyncoop hosted the concerts. We were planning to sing out doors but the rain made us move it all inside. We enjoyed the time there.
Sunday morning we sang at one church at 9:30 am and a second church at 11 am! Pastor Phillips pastors 2 churches that are about 7 miles apart and we sang for both of them! We took in just a few peices of sound equipment and plugged into the church system. we had to really hurry but it worked out well.
Sunday night we were in Brown City for a ice cream social and concert. We had a really great time. The crowd liked to laugh and that fits our program very well! We had a great service.
The whole weekend was very fast and tiring but we had a great time. we are dragging a little right now. We will be busy in the studio this week working on our new CD. Pray for us!
